After a long wait, Terror and Erebus have finally launched in the Southern Ocean with their on-board tracking and data monitoring devices designed by Icoteq!
Huge thanks to the South Georgia government and the crew of the FPV Pharos who have kindly helped to facilitate the launch! Take a look at the video below showing the challenging conditions as Terror is launched. Both boats are now drifting in the circumpolar current and are sending back position, sensor data and camera imagery from the Southern Ocean.
